Tarot and tea... a melding of herbalism and the occult. My goal in creating this blend is to offer something that is not only deeply nourishing for the body and soul, but that additionally fosters sipping with intention and mindfulness.
As we wrap up 2021 in its last couple of months, I want to offer a light at the end of the tunnel. The past couple of years have been hard. As a collective we have lived in a state of turmoil and have endured many challenges and changes throughout the pandemic. One might say the past couple years have felt a bit like The Tower card. In tarot, The Tower is the Major Arcana card that represents big change and upheaval. Sound a little familiar? Well, fear not, following The Tower is The Star card. The Star represents positive change. It brings a renewed sense of hope and reminds us of our own personal power. It’s the soothing voice saying “you’ve got this, it’s all going to be ok.”
I thoughtfully selected herbs for this tea blend that I feel embody the qualities of the Star Card. Call upon these herbal allies when you need a little calming reassurance.
Oatstraw: soothing to the brain and nervous system. Often used for stress and depression.
Lemon Balm: this is an aromatic plant that is both soothing and uplifting. It can be helpful in reducing stress and anxiety.
Damiana: a gentle stimulant that can help to increase energy without increasing anxiety.
Chamomile: relaxant herb that is amazing for overall stress & anxiety. Particularly helpful to help sooth and heal the gut.
Rosemary: circulatory and nervine stimulant. Known as “The Herb of Remembrance”.

I made a cold infusion with this blend and drank it over three days. It's such a nice drink to come back to and have at hand. Very nice flavor, no jarring notes or tastes. And it smells divine!
